There are so many videos on-line of cars making 1000hp that you would go numb to it all. I was “stuck” on mid 600's for a while on my personal channel . To be honest , those “lowly 600" cars (also a ZL1 and a procharged Mustang) were already very fast.

Then came the day I stepped into this thing . And whatever was fast in the past was completely and utterly erased from the map. Your perception changes when you drive something as savage as that. Y ou suddenly understand everyone saying”It’s just a 1000hp” probably does not understand the gravity of their words . 1000hp might not translate on video, and people have gone far beyond that mark. But the moment you are in the drivers seat? Well... I promise you won’t say “It’s just 1000hp” anymore.

What’s the highest HP car you have driven? I’d love to know!

550 hp at the at the cr ank is the most I’ve driven. Which is probably more than 99% of people have driven. 1000 wheel is like the 0.01% club.

That was my first venture above 500hp. 556 crank in the form of a CTS-V. Great fun! To think all those years later I would drive something with 1000 wheel? Beyond expectation really. I feel very fortunate I could crack that number with the help of the best community in the world!

The 640 HP CTS-V, I guess.

I just drove a 992 S that is actually quicker though, I think.  That was on a track, too.  Damn that car was fun.

That is awesome! I’ve always wanted a go on a track. But track days are so insanely expensive (and not to mention a fair drive) that I’ll likely not find myself on a true racetrack anytime soon.

About 450 hp buuut the 575lb ft of torque that kicks in at around 2200 rpm is the real kicker for that setup.

It was this - totally free! So not a lot of time - 4 laps each in a Panamera GTS and 911S, plus some off road stuff in a Cayenne, and mini-rallycross in a Macan. Hell of a lot of fun!

Sounds like an old school big block setup!

Free? “ Dutch Heritage Intensifies”

It came with the purchase of a new 911 I reckon? LOL! They have supercar track days around my neck of the woods from time to time. But there just is something, other than the money, holding me back from doing that. It’s like renting a car on Turo and doing a review on it. I want the owner next to me, both for liability reasons and corrections if I say something wrong. And those track days probably won’t let me put cameras all over the car either.
